Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, People & Talent, the People Administrator will support the Luceco Group’s Human Resources and Payroll functions across all departments, providing a professional HR and Payroll administration service.
The People Administrator will perform all duties with a high level of professionalism and tact, exhibiting strict confidentiality.
Payroll, Pension and Benefits
- Managing all payroll data and providing reports to the Finance Team as required
- Overseeing all benefit related information
- Effective and efficient management of all salary sacrifice schemes
- Adhoc projects to meet the requirement of the business
- Maintain operational instructions for all payroll processes
Employee Relations
- Update and maintain employee personal information, employee contractual changes, and organisational charts
- Collaborate with departments for resourcing and scheduling of training sessions, tracking participants and retaining training records as part of the employee HR file
- Maintain reporting including appraisal completion status, new hires, terminations and leavers
- Maintain and update manual and computerised filing systems
- Coordinate employee files, ensuring required documents are scanned and stored appropriately
- Maintain and promote working relationships of trust and respect with employees and managers
Recruitment, Selection & Talent Management
- Prepare recruitment advertisements and ensure they are included on the Luceco Group’s website, circulated to all internal staff and posted on online job boards and on job specific professional association websites
- Monitor incoming applications and respond to inquiries regarding employment opportunities
- Prepare letters of hire in consultation with Senior People Partner and hiring manager
- Maintain records of staff training and coordinate internal and external employee training activities within relevant departments
Ideal candidate:
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the role of People Administrator or a similar role
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel to intermediate level as well as Word and PowerPoint
- An analytical mind-set with a common-sense approach to problems and desire for continuous improvement
- Be a self-starter and ensure that all tasks assigned are completed according to deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience of working with HR, payroll and T&A systems with a comprehensive understanding of how the three interlink
- Previous experience of working with IRIS (desirable)
- Exhibit strong customer service, interpersonal, organisational and listening skills
- Ability to maintain excellent and detailed documentation
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and security in correspondence and documentation
