Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, your role is to play a key part in the improvement of our products, in order to ensure that they meet the requirements of our customers.
As an integral member of the Quality Team, you will play a key role in ensuring that all customer needs – in the areas of quality and customer satisfaction – are met and satisfied at all times. You will be joining a dedicated group whose focus is ensuring and improving the quality of our existing and new products, the service level we provide to our customers and maintaining and developing our internal processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product quality within the whole group product range
Lead deployment of containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issues and problem solving on non-conforming product
Liaise with relevant departments to ensure customer concerns are investigated in a timely manner
Educating the wider team in new regulatory requirements and their impact
Maintain internal systems in relation to product compliance
Produce technical reports for internal and external customers
Ideal candidate:
Proven experience in a similar position is ESSENTIAL
Expert level electric vehicle charger knowledge is ESSENTIAL
Good working knowledge and experience of using problem solving techniques: 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, Poka-Yoke etc.
Ability to read and interpret harmonised standards and international regulations
Ability to work as part of a multifunctional team as well as independently
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to feedback problems and to seek advice when appropriate
