Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in specification sales, preferably in the Lighting or Electrical industry. The role involves identifying projects, specifying products, and managing relationships with clients and contractors. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with a proven sales record in the Irish market, are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target projects that align with our product offerings, ensuring that they meet both the client’s needs and the technical requirements of our products.
- Specify and recommend appropriate products for both new installations and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
- Build and manage a pipeline of projects, from initial identification through to successful order fulfillment, ensuring smooth coordination at every stage.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders including Specification contacts, M&E Consultants, Design & Build Contractors, Fit-Out Contractors, Architects, and End Users, to drive project success and long-term business growth.
Ideal candidate:
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Experience in a specification sales environment.
- Experience within Lighting or Electrical industry (ideal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
- Proven track record of sales in Irish market.
- Decisive & Assertive – able to influence.
- Self-motivated.
- Demonstrate good planning skills & time-management.
- Creative attitude with the ability to think outside the box.
- Good communicator internally and externally and multi-level.
- Customer focused.
